When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to create and identify your account. We also collect events you submit, profile data you provide, and basic usage logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate hackmap.io: displaying your profile, attributing events you submit, and personalizing your experience. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Cookies and Sessions
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies are used beyond what is required for authentication and analytics (Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-friendly).
4. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion by contacting us. Deleted accounts have associated personal data removed within 30 days.
